Hi, I’m Sarah

I’m a Pilates instructor who genuinely loves helping people move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels supportive and sustainable. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and backgrounds — from those rebuilding after injury to those simply wanting to feel more confident and at ease in their movement.

My own journey with Pilates actually started during triathlon training. After navigating a few injuries, I discovered Pilates as a powerful way to restore strength, improve balance, and truly understand my body. What began as something purely for my own recovery quickly grew into a passion — and eventually a career centred around movement, education, and long-term wellbeing.

I’m a fully qualified BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher, and I deeply value the precision, structure, and integrity of the BASI method.

I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to the Tonic Studio.

Hi I’m Laura

I’m the person supporting Sarah in shaping how Tonic Pilates is seen, felt, and experienced—long before you step into the studio.

As the Content Creator and Social Media Manager for Tonic, my role spans everything from capturing the energy of a class in motion, to creating polished portraits, filming and editing video content, and curating imagery that feels true to the brand. Whether it’s behind-the-scenes moments, event coverage, or those small details that often go unnoticed, I’m always looking for ways to tell a story that feels authentic and inviting.

I’ve also had the privilege of building the Tonic website from the ground up, with care and attention to detail, ensuring it mirrors the brand’s identity and ethos. It’s important to me that the digital experience feels just as considered and calming as stepping into the studio itself.

At the core of my work is translating Tonic’s purpose into something visual and tangible—capturing the way the studio nurtures the body, connects the mind, and supports people of all ages and abilities in moving with strength, ease, and longevity.

Our Approach

Tonic Pilates was founded with the intention of bringing high-quality, education-driven Pilates to the local community in Scotland.

My goal is to offer precision, care, and thoughtful instruction that defines BASI Pilates—supporting people not just in how they move, but in how they live.

By prioritising education, ongoing training, and meaningful connection, Tonic Pilates is a space where clients are empowered to build strength, resilience, and confidence for life.

Continued learning is central to my practice. I remain deeply committed to further education and professional development, believing that being a lifelong student is essential to being an exceptional teacher and guide.
